Pat introduced a guest: Maggie Retreat update - 23 people have enrolled in the February retreat so far. There are still openings available. Fundraiser and T reasurer's update - The fundraiser brought in $745.94 plus $94 in donations. Our bank balance is $16,000, and the retreat will cost $12,000. Pat introduced one new member - Nancy Cantwell, and three visitors - Ester, Kendra,  and Brooke. The 2026 SBAMQG Board election was held. The winners were Gene Ratcliffe - Secretary,  Lori Green and Eileen Murphy - co-Treasurers,  Karen Clayton and Heidi Mackessy - co-Vice Presidents, and Pat Goulet - President. Non-board positions include Marnie Genes-website manager, Marlene Schwartz - membership,  and Darlene Talukder- social media. Eileen discussed the upcoming fundraiser

November fundraiser:  Eileen brought kits to the meeting for making napkins for the fundraiser.  Any items that members wish to make are welcome for the fundraiser.  The items are needed by the November  meeting . There will be a sign up for volunteers for the event at the November meeting. Members can join the next sew day and make items for the fundraiser also. Treasurer’s report:  Lori gave the treasurer’s report.  The bank account balance is $6700, minus the $2400 deposit

The 2025 quilt retreat will be held on Sept 24 - 27.  Pat asked the members if they would like to have a no frills retreat Jan. 22-25.  The majority voted in favor of having the January retreat (now scheduled for February 12-15).
