Meeting Minutes - December 3, 2024

1. New members were introduced: Desiree Mulligan, Katherine Moody, Mary Elizabeth Bellizzi

2. A slideshow highlighting the 2024 year in review was created and shown by Heidi.

3. The Community Quilt “Modern Rhythm “ was displayed.  Headed to QuiltCon.

4. Volunteer sign-ups were circulated.

5. The Fundraising update was presented by Lori. The La Selva Beach fundraiser brought in $900 in sales.  We have $9000 in the bank.  Pat will set up a day to meet with Housing Matters to present them the finished donation quilts.

6. Pat gave thank you gifts to the board members.

7. Kathrin’s Workshop will be held on Jan 11.  The class is full, but members can be added to the wait list.

8. Ruth discussed current events.  

   1. The PVQA show is in February, and they have a challenge to make a square quilt.  

   2. The next Cherrywood challenge “The Abyss” has been announced. 

   3. The  San Jose Quilt Museum is still showing the “25 million stitches” exhibit.

   4.  Folsom is holding a quilt show.  

   5. There is an opening in the Okan arts quilt tour to Japan in February.  

   6. Wonder clips are on sale at Missouri Quilting.

9. The Holiday swap was held, and many beautiful table runners were exchanged.

10. Show and Tell - Pam, Susan Rainiri, Libby, Kathrin, Vivian, Heidi and Laura shared quilts.
